Russell Technologies has multiple encryption options available. Encryption can be enabled for email on a per user basis, for files, folders, and removable drives on a per-PC basis, as well as full disk encryption to protect extremely sensitive data, ensuring that it is unusable if it falls into the wrong hands. Some options, such as full disk encryption, are free as long as the PCs that need to be encrypted have a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) embedded on the system, which most modern, business grade, computers do. We typically recommend setting this up for anyone who has sensitive information on their device in the company, as well as all new devices moving forward.
For file and held web portal email encryption options, there is additional licensing fees that come into play, but Russell Technologies is able to aggregate licensing across all of our clients to keep this at an absolute minimum cost, and only license these features for the specific users that need them.
